Clear aligners does more than just straighten teeth. It encourages a lifestyle of self-confidence, health and happiness.
1. Easier to Clean
When you have braces, sometimes it can be difficult to give your teeth a good cleaning. Food gets stuck in areas that are hard to reach.
But Clear Aligners are easy to pop out and clean. You won’t have to worry about flossing or brushing in between brackets and wires because they are completely removable. Being able to brush and floss like normal can go a long way in protecting your oral health over time.
2. No Food Restrictions
With braces you cannot eat certain food or chew gum because they could end up damaging the brackets or wires.
If you choose Clear Aligner, you won’t have to deal with any food restrictions. You can easily take aligners off of your teeth, allowing you to eat whatever you want without damaging them.
3. More Comfortable
Any new appliance in your mouth may take some time to get used to. However, clear aligners are typically more comfortable than braces for two main reasons:
- No Sharp Edges: Brackets come with sharp edges that can potentially irritate your cheeks. Invisalign edges are smooth.
- No Tightening: Braces need to be tightened by your dentist. With clear aligners, you’re simply giving multiple sets of aligners that you change every two weeks. Each aligner is slightly adjusted from the previous one. You may feel a minor tightness when you put in a new set of aligners, but it shouldn’t last more than a day or two.
4. Virtually Invisible
One of the most common complaints people have about traditional braces is that they’re unattractive. Everyone notices your smile, so you may not want braces to cover it up. Thankfully, Invisalign can offer the same results as braces without being so noticeable. Clear aligners are made out of clear plastic, so they’re practically invisible when you smile.
5. Fewer Trips to the Dentist
Braces require patients to visit the dentists multiple times to get their wires tightened. On the other hand, patients with clear aligners are given multiple sets of aligners that they can simply change out on their own.
Although clear aligners patients still have routine appointments to check on their progress, they usually aren’t as often as tightening appointments for braces, which are typically every 4–8 weeks.
6. No Discoloration
Some patients with braces experience slight discoloration of their teeth in the spots the brackets were in. This typically only occurs if the patient consumes a lot of sugar or other staining foods. Although there’s a small chance you’ll experience teeth discoloration from braces, you can avoid it altogether with clear aligners instead. The aligners are not mounted to your teeth, so it’s easy to clean all of your teeth thoroughly.
The good news is typically people say there’s no pain. However, mild tenderness or soreness with Invisalign is to be expected when you pop in your first set of aligners and, occasionally, when you switch to a new tray.
You may drink alcohol, wine, soda, juice, and all other beverages during Invisalign treatment. But like above, you must remove the aligners to consume them. The only drink you may safely consume while wearing clear aligners is water.
Clear aligner is designed to gently guide teeth toward a straighter, more appealing position.
It all starts with a digitally designed roadmap for your smile. This innovative approach, developed by biomechanical engineers, ensures every single tooth movement is intentional.
With clear aligner, the difference is in the details.
Every person will get a series of custom, clear and removable aligner trays which fit over their misaligned teeth. New aligner trays are fitted every 1 to 2 weeks, allowing teeth to gradually and gently move into the perfect, straight place.
